The Princess Garden Hickory Hill Neighborhood Association (PGHHNA) was established and incorporated in 2008. We are a citizen-led effort created to address community concerns, raise community awareness and improve the quality of life of residents of the Lanham-Seabrook, Maryland communities.
We are your neighbors. We hail from all walks of life and origins. We are “everyday” folks who go about living our lives seeking the common goals of prospering and raising families in a safe wholesome environment.
PGHHNA exists because of change; a contemporary reality communities must face. Like communities around us, our community has seen demographic shifts that have presented some challenges. We seek to help our community adapt.
Our major concerns have been promoting the social welfare of the community, the lessening of neighborhood tensions, combating infrastructure and property deterioration and other issues brought on by economic and social change.
We also recognize our diversity of backgrounds as being part of the beauty of living in the communities we share and we seek to embrace our “difference” to strengthen our community.
