Neighbors @ Work

PGHHNA seeks to strengthen our community through a policy of engagement and a continuing commitment to initiatives that address the needs of those who live in the community we call home. You can benefit, but most of all, benefit your community. Contact us for more information about how to get involved or how to become a member of the association!

During our monthly meetings, we discuss opportunities to strengthen our community and when we plan to accomplish our goals. Some past opportunities to do so have included:

  • meeting and engaging with officials; raising their awareness of our concerns and needs,
  • meeting neighbors and developing new friendships through “Hi, Neighbor” walks,
  • working on community projects like restoring the once vandalized community "Welcome" wall,
  • informing our community of concerns and events through the PGHHNA newsletter, PGHHNA e-NEWS,
  • attending PTSA meetings, public meetings, forums and hearings,
  • engaging guest speakers, and
  • making contributions to worthy causes like water for Flint Michigan or school supplies for local schools.
